The coir fibers are attached to the base with glue, so not all fibers are equally secure, and it is completely normal for some fibers to shed at the beginning of use.

For cleaning, do it dry. Use a brush; do not use water or put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. First, the husks are "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are collected and then beaten by hand to extract the fiber. The doormats are painted and colored by hand one by one using different stencils. Subsequently, a traditional open-air sun-drying technique is used to fix the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, the anti-slip base is added, which keeps the doormat firmly in place and reduces the risk of slipping.
