Leopard Ray Figurine

With its flattened body and characteristic dark spots, the leopard ray is one of the most elegant fish in the deep sea. It can be found in the coastal waters of the Pacific, gracefully moving above sandy seabeds.

Surprisingly, although it resembles a classic ray, the leopard ray has a long, thin tail, sometimes equipped with a venomous barb that it uses for defense. Harmless to humans, it mainly feeds on shellfish, crustaceans, and small fish, which it crushes with its powerful flat jaws. Highly appreciated by divers, it often moves in groups and offers a fascinating spectacle as it undulates in the water.

This Papo figurine faithfully reproduces the leopard ray: flattened body, spotted patterns, and realistic details. An ideal model to enrich a marine animal collection, invent underwater stories, or raise children's awareness of the astonishing diversity of cartilaginous fish.
