Materials: coconut fiber and non-slip PVC. The thickness of our doormats is one of the most appreciated features by our customers: it provides the perfect rigidity so that everything you don't want to bring into your home stays at the door.
FISURA doormats are made from 100% natural coir fiber. This fiber is obtained from the coconut husk, with almost no waste.
? Approximately 25 coconuts are used for each doormat.
? The husks are first immersed in coastal lagoons and then hand-beaten to extract the fibers.
? All FISURA doormats are hand-painted and colored.
? For drying, the doormats are exposed to sunlight. The duration varies depending on the season.
? The non-slip PVC base keeps the doormat stable and firmly in place, significantly reducing the risk of slipping.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the letters lose their sharpness over time?
? The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Any discoloration is due to either wear and tear or the conditions of the location where the doormat is placed. It should be kept in mind that this is an indoor doormat: to maintain its original appearance, it should not be exposed directly to sunlight or rain.
Does it shed a lot of fibers?
? The coir fibers are attached to the base with glue. Of course, not all of them attach in exactly the same way, so it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose at first. To clean it, use a slightly damp brush. Do not use excessive water.
