The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and it is perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose at the beginning of use.

For its cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water or put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand one by one using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
