DRAGON BALL Z - POP N° 111 - Majin Buu
Buu (Majin Bū) is a fictional character created by Akira Toriyama in the manga Dragon Ball in 1984.
Millions of years before the events of Dragon Ball, when humans on Earth had just begun to walk, the wizard Bibidi created a monster named Buu to dominate the universe. Buu proved to be completely uncontrollable and attacked the Kaio Shin (the gods of the universe, obstacles to Bibidi): he killed those of the North and West and absorbed the one from the South (the strongest). He then took on an imposing form. Finally, he absorbed Dai Kaio Shin. The latter having a peaceful and good heart, Buu's character and physical appearance changed completely: Buu became plump with a childish personality.
Buu was then enclosed in a cocoon by his creator, terrified by the creature. The only survivor of the massacre, the youngest Kaio Shin (the one from the East) found Bibidi and killed him in his sleep to leave Buu locked forever in his hidden cocoon on Earth.
