Tarantula Figurine

Description
Impressive and intriguing, the tarantula is one of the largest spiders in the world. Easily recognizable by its hairy body and long, sturdy legs, it lives in warm, tropical regions, primarily in America.
Contrary to popular belief, the tarantula is not dangerous to humans: its bite is generally comparable to a wasp sting. It hunts at night, feeding on insects, small amphibians, and sometimes rodents. Surprisingly, when it feels threatened, it can project tiny stinging hairs to defend itself. Some species are also capable of regenerating a lost leg over the course of their molts.
This Papo figurine faithfully reproduces the tarantula: hairy legs, rounded abdomen, and a menacing posture. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent thrilling stories, or raise children's awareness of the surprising diversity of the arachnid world.
A great gift idea for curious children, wildlife enthusiasts and those discovering wild animals, and collectors of Papo figurines.
