Mattes von Sprotte and little Lotti

With little Lotti, whom he meets by chance on his way to his seagull gang in Hamburg, he experiences many exciting adventures on the world's coasts. Always in pursuit of Lotti's dad, whom they just miss every time.

The entire seagull gang helps as much as they can, of course. Because seagulls are very social animals and always stick together. So, in the MöwMöw children's books, the group regularly goes on journeys so that Lotti and her dad can finally be reunited in each other's arms.
