Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first immersed in coastal lagoons, then hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional sun-drying technique then sets the paint. Finally, a non-slip base is added to ensure stability and safety.
