The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration may occur for various reasons, such as intensive use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in good condition, it is recommended to avoid direct exposure to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity and, at the beginning of use, it is perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the shell of approximately 25 coconuts. The shells are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional sun-drying technique outdoors then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
