The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. For this reason, they are not all held in the same way, and it is perfectly normal for some fibers to detach at the beginning.

For cleaning, dry clean. Use a brush; do not use water or put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first “seasoned” in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then beaten by hand to extract the fibers. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand, one by one, using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique is then used to fix the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
