The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held in the same way, and at the beginning of use, it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, use a dry brush, do not use water, and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husks of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then manually beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand, one by one, using various stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
