The Daruma is a traditional Japanese lucky charm believed to help grant wishes. If you make a wish to your Daruma, you paint one of its eyes and place it somewhere you'll see it often. As soon as the wish comes true, you paint the second eye, and it's time for a new Daruma. The more two-eyed Darumas you have, the happier you'll be.
